The first lady, Patience Jonathan, requested for 4billion
naira since last February for her peace mission House project(a private
venture)under a non-governmental organization.Do you think she should have this huge amount of money
extracted from the public funds? Why not leave the federation funds for the
development of the public.
Yesterday,the president of the Senate, David Mark said:
“There is a lot of traffic congestion. The streets are not
being kept in very good condition; the gardens and the lawns are not being
maintained…. The saved 4bn naira should be used to improve the lives of
ordinary people. Governments are about the welfare of the people, ordinary
people too, not just projects”
hmmm not just projects...
