SAD: BENEDICT ODAISE(COMPOSER OF NIGERIA'S NATIONAL ANTHEM) AND FATAI ROLLING DOLLAR DIES

Its rather unfortunate that my first post today will be on the death of two legends: Benedict and Fatai.

Pa Benedict passed on yesternight in his sleep(peaceful rest). He was a Director of the Police music band and composed the Nigerian Anthem(May 1978) and also a Deputy Commissioner of Police before he retired in 1992.

Sir Fatai Olayiwola(85 years) and popularly known as Fatai Rolling Dollar died this morning at marritol hospital in Surulere after a brief illness.
