Welcome GFRs.
Am sarah, you are welcome to my blog.
Am
sure i would be able to give you tips on fashion, beauty, fitness,
food and books cuz that is what i would focus on, not forgetting
gossips too hehehe. Haters ooo!! am ready to be yabbed tho' lol
Well, happy mothers day to mothers all over the world once again, the very best to you all!
Its
Monday and here in owerri, government workers are on strike so theres
no much traffic and here os cof, theres no light! I miss lagos!
In my alone time, i decided to focus on stretch marks.
I
was doing big geh o, travelled down to benin to get a soap and cream
that i would use continually, little did i know that typical nigerians
will market their products, good or bad o, so far you pay money, business
don end for you, go sort yourself out! PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SOAP AND
CREAM!
I have dark stretch marks and errrr its been difficult
for me you know, calling people for help and all not knowing my help has
been on my dressing table for long- MOISTURIZER!,people who lotioned-up
daily showed significant improvement in skin appearance and elasticity.
Think of it this way: if your skin has a lot of stretching to do, it's
less likely to tear and create stretch marks if it's hydrated. Cocoa
butter has not been proven to reduce stretch marks o! In a double-blind
study, cocoa butter was not shown to have any discernible effect on
stretch marks. Be wary of marketing schemes that claim otherwise, NOW
YOU KNOW....
Peptide-containing products also haven't been proven to
work. "Repair" creams or serums that claim to contain peptides or
proteins have not been proven to restore skin damaged by stretch
marks.Asides mosturizers, use RETIN-A, Use glycolic acid. Glycolic acid
used on stretch marks can increase collagen production, as making your
skin more elastic overall. As an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), it's in the
same family of compounds often used in chemical skin peels.
Also learn how to eat healthy and take enough fruits, trust me, those tiger stripes will fade.
My very dark FRENCH CURVES are fading already,in like 3months, I would be able to hit the pool&beach again!yayyyyy!!Collapse this post
